Your Trial

Bridal trials are required for both makeup and hair. We recommend booking your bridal trial 4 to 6 weeks before your wedding date. This timing means your hair length, skin, and colouring will be as close as possible to how they will be on the actual day, so what you see at your trial is genuinely what you will get. Trials are done in studio.

Day-of beauty prep can happen in studio or at your location, whichever suits your morning best. Our makeup and hair teams travel for weddings.


A note for out-of-town or early starts: Weddings with very early morning call times outside Calgary will require overnight accommodation for the team the night before. We will work this into your booking details together.

Bridal FAQ

Do I need a trial before my wedding day?

Yes. A trial is required for both makeup and hair in advance of your wedding, done in studio. This is where we get everything right together before the day it matters most.

When should I book my trial?

We recommend 6 to 8 weeks before your wedding. This keeps your hair length and skin as close as possible to your wedding day, so your trial results carry through accurately.

Where does the beauty prep happen on the wedding day?

Either in studio or at your wedding location, whichever works best for your morning and your timeline. For bigger groups you may request a private studio booking where it's only you and your wedding party in studio.

Can you provide makeup and hair for the rest of our bridal party?

Getting ready is better together. We also offer beauty services for your bridesmaids, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, and anyone else in your morning. Ask us about group bridal party bookings when you inquire.

What if my wedding has a very early start?

Early call times are a normal part of this work and something our team plans for. For out-of-town weddings with very early starts, overnight accommodation for the team is required the night before, so we are on-site and ready without a pre-dawn drive.

Do you travel outside of Calgary for weddings?

Yes, our makeup and hair teams travel. We frequently provide bridal services in the mountain towns and southern Alberta. Please enquire for a quote.

How do I confirm my wedding date?

Your date is held with a 50 percent booking deposit. With the remaining balance due within 24 hours of the wedding date.

Do you specialize in a particular bridal look?

Yes. Soft glam, natural-finish bridal makeup is our focus, with particular experience creating soft, romantic looks for brides who want to look like the most polished version of themselves rather than a dramatic departure from it.
