We understand that life happens however we are a small team and politely require 48 hours notice of appointment date changes or cancellation; this allows us time to notify our team of the change and fill the appointment time we had reserved for you.

If you do not show up for a booked appointment you will be invoiced a $65 no show fee. If you provide less than 48 hours notice for a change or cancellation then we will require pre-payment of any future service before it can be booked. Pre-payment can be made over the phone via credit card. 

Yes. Early call times are a normal part of this work, and our team plans for them. Whether you need to be ready before a 6am wedding ceremony, a sunrise photoshoot, or an early flight, we're set up to accommodate it.

There's no rush fee and no need to apologize for the early start — just let us know your required ready time when you book, and we'll work backward from there to schedule accordingly.

When you booked your appointment you will have received an automated confirmation email which is positively JAMMED with good to know details.

Seriously, it's a bit of a novel to get through, but we take your beauty prep seriously and want you to get the maximum results possible, which means showing up properly prepped! If you can't find this email please email us at info@pretestudio.com and we'll send another copy out asap.

Yes, at Prête Studio we are happy to offer mobile makeup applications and hair stying services.

There is an additional travel fee charged of $85 for locations within the city of Calgary for the Pro Team. This fee is waived for groups of 3 or more such as wedding parties.

Outside of City of Calgary limits the travel fee is $85/hour of drive time. Travel rates vary if booking Adrienne.

Your best option is to use the online booking system. It's linked to our calendars so you get immediate visibility on what's available.

As long as the date change is made prior to 48 hours in advance of your booking just click the 'reschedule' link on your automated booking confirmation. For changes made after the 48 hours contact us directly at info@pretestudio.com to plead your case (lol).

Online and in-person with credit cards.

Gift cards from AF Makeup may be used.

E-transfers and cash are also accepted.

No! We are a no-tipping studio. At Prête, we believe in fair pay and exceptional service, without expecting extra from you. So relax, knowing the full cost of your experience before you book.

Just let us know! We're happy to accommodate any special requests or concerns you may have. We'll review ingredient lists to avoid any known allergies.

At Prête we prioritize using the highest quality products available on the market. The vast majority of all beauty products used within the studio originate from within Canada, the United States and Europe. The only exception are some of the nail polish products originate from Asia.

Generally speaking we're open as follows:

Monday-Thursday 9:00am-9:00pm

Friday 9:00am-6:00pm (we like to have fun on Friday's too!)

Saturday 9:00-5:00pm

Sundays 10:00-4:00pm

However we understand that photo shoots and occasionally weddings can start very early, which means we'll start very early (6:00am anyone!?) to get you ready.

Discover us nestled in the cozy inner city neighborhood of Richmond/Knob Hill, where our studio awaits you through the gate on the left-hand side of the property. Please note we are by appointment only.

Yes! Lots! Free street parking abounds in the surrounding neighbourhood. Heads up some of the streets around the studio enforce 2 hour parking but our immediate block does not.

Friends and partners for sure.

Kids it's usually better if they don't attend. There are many tiny, delicate items and procedures taking place, it's not an environment well suited for bored, restless children. Occasionally on non-school days we have a wonderful helpful young woman available who offers baby sitting for a very reasonable fee so that you may enjoy your beauty service in peace and quiet (this young woman is founder, Adrienne Furrie's, daughter)
