Microneedling treatments address concerns of un-even skin pigmentation, loss of skin elasticity, helps to diminish fine wrinkles, adds some major skin glow, and works to shrink pore size.

The benefits of microneedling are long lasting and cumulative. The ideal pattern is a series of 4-6 treatments spaced approximately 4 weeks apart to get started. Then one-two treatments every 6 or so months to maintain your optimal results. 

The microneedling tool used at Prête is the e-Pen and is top of the line, Health Canada approved, technology for safety and efficacy.  The disposable single use needle cartridge provides significant advances in technology and safety. It has 12 sterile 32-gauge precision points that aid in creating minimal discomfort, rapid recovery and natural-looking results. 

These very fine needles make tiny controlled holes in the top layer of your skin allowing the serums to penetrate deeper in. And the micro-damage created helps stimulate your skin's healing process, producing more of your own skins collagen and elastin proteins keeping your skin firm and smooth.

These treatments will leave skin red and sensitive to the sun for up to three to four days so do not schedule a microneedling treatment immediately prior to any important events. Plan to spend the day or two following your treatment laying a little low and avoiding the sun and sweating. You may apply makeup to help manage redness starting 24 hours post treatment.
